Our school is located in the tranquil historic town of Santa Margarita, which is 8 miles south of Atascadero, and 10 miles north of San Luis Obispo and Cal Poly University. Surrounded by rolling hills and vast cattle ranches, Santa Margarita Elementary retains the feeling of a small country school and community. Santa Margarita Elementary School is a high performing school that continually strives to increase student performance and to improve the quality of education for all students. A sense of family embraces the school and community. Parent and community involvement in the classrooms help to build a positive identity in our students.
