The Caring Place Day Care is a state-of-the-art secure day care facility located at the JCC of Scranton just blocks away from the University of Scranton Mercy Hospital Lackawanna College and Commonwealth Medical College.

The rooms are bright and sunny with separate classrooms for each age group. A warm home-away-from-home atmosphere includes staff who love children who have been with us for many years because of their commitment and feelings for young children.

Experienced day care teachers provide age-appropriate programs and activities including outdoor playground time swimming and gym for children from 6 weeks old to kindergarten.

DISCOUNTS:
For siblings attending full-time 5 days for more than 5 hours there is a 10% discount on the total weekly fee (for each additional child.)
For full-time Big Kids who also attend the JCC preschool 5 days a week there is a $10 per week day care discount.
There is no charge for day care on dates it is closed i.e. national and Jewish holidays. In addition each family is entitled to one weeks vacation per year equal to their regular weekly attendance.
The drop-in rate (on a space-available basis) is $9 per hour.
The Caring Place Day Care participates in the Pennsylvania Keys Star Program to insure that our staff are aware of the most up-to-date child care ideas and their training and experience provide each child with the best day-care experience possible.
