At Pelican Island we are dedicated to providing our students with a safe and nurturing environment in which our students are excited about coming to school each day and encouraged to take risks. We recognize each child’s individual academic social and emotional needs. Programs have been implemented at Pelican Island to differentiate instruction accordingly while at the same time providing appropriate interventions and accommodations to assist every child in being successful. Their success is our success! Our focus is always our students and every decision that is made is always based on what is in the best interest of the student.
