Sharon Public Schools Preschool Program

The Sharon Public School’s Early Childhood Programs offer half-day and full-day integrated preschool classes and one substantially separate classroom.
The major goal of our programs is to promote the social, emotional, physical, and conceptual development of young children. Our programs are designed to provide children with valuable hands-on learning experiences in accordance with their individual needs and abilities. Differences in rates of development, special talents, interests, and personalities are recognized and respected. Our programs provide a safe, accepting, and supportive environment where young children learn to participate in play and other group activities and learn how to pursue individual interests. Children learn about cooperation, sharing, risk-taking, and being considerate of others. We believe that programs can be most successful when parents, staff, and children work closely together.
Our program is proud to have earned NAEYC accreditationthe mark of quality for early childhood education programs.
