We offer a “My Grown Up and Me” class for 12-36 month-olds with an adult (nanny, parent, grandparent.) The fall session runs September – December. The Winter Session runs January – March. The Spring Session runs April – June. We do not offer the program in the summer.

The Silver Spring Learning Center (SSLC) has instituted the highest standards since its establishment in 1971. Your child will thrive in our congenial, warm atmosphere where he or she will be creatively stimulated, not only socially, but academically as well. We have found that children learn through play. Our teachers provide a non-pressured, “game-like” environment for learning language arts, modern math concepts, handwriting readiness, science and social studies principles, as well as creative expression through art, dramatics, music, and dance. We feel our program gives your child the best start in their school life.
We strive to build a positive self-image within each child during these crucial early learning years.We welcome children of all faiths and cultures to our program, and attempt to give each child pride in his or her identity. Students of Jewish faith will become more familiar with Jewish symbols, holidays, and customs enabling them to associate positive emotions with Judaism. As an option, Hebrew Immersion/Judaic Enrichment classes are available for those families who desire a strong emphasis on Hebrew language and religious tradition in combination with our regular secular program.
