East Coast Migrant Head Start Project

East Coast Migrant Head Start Project is committed to preparing children – Especially the children of migrant and seasonal farm workers – for success. We do this by providing holistic high quality early childhood education services for children and families in a nurturing culturally sensitive environment and by advocating for those children and families in their other areas of need.
East Coast Migrant Head Start Project (ECMHSP) was established in 1974 to provide continuity of Head Start services to children of migrant farm workers on the east coast of the United States.

ECMHSP serves children ages birth to five years whose families qualify based on the federal poverty income guidelines and the federal definitions of migrant and seasonal farm workers.
