St Andrew's Preschool

Our school was established in 1973 and has the distinction of being Spring Hill’s first Pre-School Center. At the time the region was primarily a retirement area and members of St Andrews who were the mothers of preschoolers saw the need for a place to meet with their children.

In time children from the community also began to attend. The curriculum includes an introduction to the alphabet numbers colors music and basic science in a well-balanced schedule of free-time play organized class activities and outdoor playground time. The school also participates with the Florida Department of Education as a certified provider of Universal Voluntary Pre-K.

All students attend and participate in the Wednesday Children’s Chapel. Chapel is usually led by Pastor Shanda Mahurin our Rector and Jody Bowes our Minister of Music. Children from the Parish and the Community are welcome to join us.
