Our school is a family oriented enjoyable learning center where we all strive for the best at all times. We believe every student brings with them special gifts and talents. Our staff takes responsibility for bringing out the best in each and everyone while also supporting each other.

CDOs primary academic focus is language arts and mathematics. History science. physical education and the arts are all parts of our balanced academic program. We encourage hands-on active instruction that includes technology to help make learning meaningful and motivating.

I believe parents are the most significant influence in their childrens lives. I want parents to be involved to help us do the best job possible for our students. I encourage you to participate in one of the following ways: classroom volunteers attending conferences Back-to-School Night and Open House and by serving as members of the School Site Council English Learner Advisory Committee or PTA Board.
