Aquia Harbor Preschool

Aquia Harbour Pre-school (AHPS) was founded in 1978 and has grown into a wonderful program, offering classes for 3 and 4 year olds taught by two certified teachers. The Kindergarten preparedness and curriculum are second to none.

AHPS is a non-profit cooperative (co-op) association whose existence depends solely upon the support of its membership. Parents are responsible for the organization and the administration of the school. A co-op recognizes that parents are the primary educators of the young child and, in return for the parent’s work and commitment, provides the opportunity to share in their child’s first academic experience and steps toward independence.
