Stepping Stones Montessori

Stepping Stones Montessori aims to provide a carefully planned, stimulating environment which will help children to develop within themselves the foundational attitudes, habits and skills that are essential for a lifetime of creative thinking and learning. We strive to create an atmosphere that promotes independence, responsibility and respect.

In the Montessori classroom, the teacher prepares the environment with hands on experimental activities in the area of art, music, science, math, geography, language, daily living skills and social etiquette. The teacher guides, but it is the child who learns, who is motivated from within through the actual work itself.
