Spirit of Faith Christian Center provides a rich classroom experience where students are challenged to learn while having fun!
Our programs offer a good learning foundation that meets the needs of the whole child and lays the building blocks for future reference. Our learning objectives include language, math, social skills, spanish, science, music, art, physical education and outdoor fun.
Our purpose is not to impose any particular denomination’s doctrine on your child, but to simply teach each student to make righteous discernments and decisions. We believe that our students will impact this nation, because they will be trained and inspired by the very best. Our faculty and staff are born-again, spirit-filled Christians prepared and equipped to take the ministry of Jesus to the ends of the earth. They are dedicated to train, educate, tutor and point our students toward God.
Our school year starts in September and ends in June. We provide a fun-filled summer program with reading enhancement (not available in Ellicott City) June through August, for ages 3 through 12 years old.

The above scripture sums up our philosophy. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing Christian atmosphere for child development. Our program is designed to meet the needs of the whole child’s spiritual, emotional, physical, social and cognitive development.
We know that "the fear (respect, reverence) of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge " (Prov. 1:7) and that all knowledge, including academics, has its foundation in the ultimate standard of the truth, the Bible. We know that children learn through direct and indirect experiences. Our program is designed to induce learning through repetition, hands-on experiences, daily routines, and active play; which will foster independence, induce design-making, teach our children self-respect, respect for others and develop a sense of unity. We know the lessons that a child learns during the early stages of life have more to do with forming his/her character than all that he/she may learn in future years. Therefore, Biblical principles and Godly characteristics such as: Faith, virtue, knowledge, temperance, patience, Godliness; brotherly kindness and love are taught on a daily basis. I Peter 1:7.
New theories, ideas and concepts of child development can always be found, mostly with little evidence of positive, long-term effects. However, the Word of God (Biblical principles of child development), still remains effective today with overwhelming results.
We know that a return to Godly principles, incorporated with the basic foundations for learning, will assist us in producing productive individuals, who are capable of taking on a world of challenges and overcoming them.
