Lighthouse Day School

Lighthouse Day School is a new bi-lingual preschool program, with extended hours, that has been established through a vision for a more wholesome place where children can learn and grow. Our environment has been designed to help optimize the well being of children. We strive to exclude plastic materials and enhanced our program with earth tone colors that promote a sense of calm and well being. We are here for the children and wish to help develop a love of learning, to prepare them for entry into the school system. The Seaman Congregational Church has graciously agreed to become involved by providing a learning environment filled with light and sunshine. With more than 20 years of experience in the Early Childhood field, we are ready to make a difference in your child’s life. Our multi-cultural heritage has had a strong influence on the program and is somewhat comparable to a montessori environment.

We are a small team and our preschool director also operates as a teacher. She has a degree in Early Childhood Education and speaks fluent German and English. Our assistant teachers are friendly, mature, experienced and well educated. Jack Belland, pastor of Seaman Congregational Church is a wonderful educator who will contribute to our curriculum on a weekly basis.

All of our staff is truly devoted to the well being of young children. This is not only our job… it’s our passion.
