Old Mission Peninsula School offering a preschool through fifth grade program is located high on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan on beautiful Old Mission Peninsula. Our original building was erected in 1956 consolidating seven country school houses. In 1968 our school was annexed by Traverse City Area Public Schools and reconstructed in 2006. Old Mission Peninsula School combines a warm and caring environment for children with high scholastic and behavioral expectations. Our students perform well above the state in all CORE subject areas as measured by the MEAP reading math science and writing tests and our school has achieved Summary Accreditation by the State of Michigan.
