The Sunnyside Unified School District actively supports its belief that learning begins at birth.
Ocotillo Early Learning Center
A high quality, developmentally appropriate early childhood center serving children ages birth to five of all abilities in an inclusive, nurturing, stimulating environment. Programs include Title One preschool, early childhood special education, and our fee-based program (fees are adjustable based on DES eligibility).

Parents as Teachers
Free for all families who live in the Sunnyside District, beginning in the third trimester of pregnancy until children are 5 years old. Services include home visits by parent educators, Stay and Play, Dad and Me, toy and book lending library.
Arizona Early Intervention Program
Support and services for families of children, birth to 3 years, with disabilities or developmental delays.
Up with Children
Licensed daycare for children three to five years old whose parents are students, employees or residents of the Sunnyside District. High school students earn credit and gain practical experience working with small children. There may be a one-year waiting period to enroll your child.
Family Literacy
Children ages three to five gain school readiness experiences; parents are offered GED preparation, literacy and parenting skills training. Family Literacy is offered at the Ocotillo Early Childhood Learning Center and Mission Manor elementary schools.
Teen-age Parent Program (TAPP)
Daycare for infants, two weeks to 12 months old, of students, residents and employees of the district. TAPP is located at Sunnyside High School; certified for DES subsidy.
