The Vail Community Services Program is dedicated to the fundamental needs of young children and their families. The program is designed to provide a wide variety of enriching experiences which will help children learn about themselves and the world in which they live.
Services include the following features:
Extended hours – 7 A.M. to 6 P.M. Preschool enrichment program Free speech/language screening Free hearing screening D.E.S. approved Free special education services for eligible 3 and 4 year olds. Kindercottage Program (complements Kindergarten)The primary goal of the Vail Community Services Program is to work hand-in-hand with parents to reinforce and extend the positive behaviors acquired by the children in their total surroundings, both at school and at home.
KIDCO
The City of Tucson Parks & Recreation provides an after-school recreation program for children ages 5-11, in kindergarten through fifth grade at Senita Valley in the MPR from 2:45-6:00 PM.
KIDCO is only in session when school is in session.
KIDCO provides the following:
A safe, comfortable place for children to be after school. An opportunity for kids to express themselves through various art forms, sports and special events. A place to practice physical fitness, experience healthy alternatives and learn respect for the body. An environment that helps promote self-esteem, encourages listening and caring and where positive values are reinforced. An opportunity to develop varied interests, to practice recreational skills and to experience positive use of leisure time. A time for friendships and socializing. KIDCO registration is handled through Registration Services on a space available basis during the school year.Want more information?
