The Cool Preschool is a highly academic Christian based preschool. We provide low student to teacher ratios. We accept children ages 3-5 or potty trained. We incorporate into our daily routines Saxon math and Phonics, The Hooked on Phonics reading program, and the Bible. Through out the day Christian values are modeled, and acknowledged when the desired behavior is demonstrated by the child.

The demand for daycare/preschool facilities continue to grow day by day, but all too often, are only able to focus on either allowing the child to learn through play and develop naturally or forcing the child to focus only on mental development in order to achieve high test scores later on in life. I’m happy to say we’re somewhere in the middle of these two options.
The Cool Preschool Inc. is different. We promote physical activities and a wide variety of educational games, we also have a small library nook in the block and puzzle room, and a large attached room to move about in. We enjoy daily/weekly arts and crafts for your child to unleash his or her full creativity level.
Our goal is to promote every child’s development individually, using an age appropriate mix of academic and physical activities. We also are well aware that each child learns differently and at his/her own pace. After years of practice teaching reading we’ve learned it is best to work one-on-one with the child so there’s no peer pressure. The teachers will sit with the child in a quiet spot, for 10-15 minutes and practice letter recognition and the sounds associated with each letter. Once your child is ready to start blending the sounds, reading is almost immediate.
