Tucson Community School’s mission is to provide a creative learning experience emphasizing outdoor play and family participation in a safe environment which respects each child’s uniqueness and individual learning style.
Tucson Community School, Inc. (TCS) is a unique, non-profit, parent owned cooperative for the children of Tucson that was established in 1948. TCS offers a three-year program that starts when a child is three years old by September 1st and continues through Kindergarten. The school welcomes students of all races, religions, and cultures, and maintains a financial assistance program that allows it to offer education to children of all economic levels. TCS is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, NAEYC, which provides goals and guidelines for quality education.
