The missions of the CDL parallel the three-part Teaching, Research, and Service missions of the University of Illinois. As a Laboratory School, we support these academic missions by:
*Facilitating student observations of children
*Allowing select research/teaching projects to occur at the school
*Serving as a center for teacher training
