We want children to love school! It is our belief that children learn by doing! Play is children’s work…children in creative play experiences. We are proud of our school! Our program, with geniune respect for children, is implemented to pay attention to the needs and differences of the individual child. Children grow at different rates. We want to make sure that each child is given the tools necessary to aid i that growth.
Guided by warm, skillful teachers, the children learn through a variety of hands on experiences. Concepts of language, art, music, math and science are explored throughout the curriculum. There is freedom to choose from a variety of activites.
The outdoor area is exceptional. The newly installed play equipment is set in a park-like setting with large grassy areas. The children’s garden includes a variety of flowers and vegetables.

The philosophy of our school is centered in the belief that each child is unique and special. Each child is allowed to grow at his or her own rate. In keeping with this, we srive to present a developmentally appropriate program. Our focus is each child’s social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth.
Our program is respectful of the multi-cultural, multi-denominational society in which we live. Children are enriched through music, dramatic play, science, art and literature. All of these are age appropriate. Each classroom is designed to create relaxed, hands on experiences. Our program combines structured and unstructured, child initiated and material stimulated activities. Our teachers are the nurturing facilitators of these experiences.
We believe that parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. We encourage and appreciate parent participation in our program.
The whole child learns through creative interactive play. The whole child learns by doing. This is how self confidence is built. This is how we offer the tools necessary to prepare each child for their formal learning.
