Gracie's Preschool

At Gracies Preschool we acknowledge the parents as the childs primary teachers. Our desire is to supplement and enhance the learning that begins in the home and to work with parents to develop each child as a whole. Communication through daily contact newsletters e-mails and telephone conferences keep parents up-to-date regarding their childs progress. A good parent/teacher relationship is necessary for maximum school success.

Our educational goals are twofold: the academic focus is for kindergarten preparedness and our Christian position is If you want beautiful sheep . . . feed the lambs. HighReach Learning is our exciting new curriculum full of discovery and investigative learning. HighReach Learning experiences are aligned with nationally recognized standards and allow children to investigate their interests and construct new knowledge. Children gain independence competence and self-confidence as they achieve the readiness skills needed for kindergarten. Christ Light is the Christian curriculum that we use. The Bible stories carefully follow the church year and cover creation through the resurrection thereby laying the foundation for spiritual growth and trust in God. We believe that knowing Christ as your Savior gives confidence and assuredness in life.

The spiritual and educational development of each child is nurtured in an environment of Christian warmth and understanding. Preparing children for kindergarten is a priority; however preparing children for eternity is our mission.
