Kimbi's Playworld

Kimbis Playworld is a state-licensed center that was established in 1982 . We are U.S.D.A. food certified and provide nutritional meals and snacks daily. Our center was built and designed specifically for children between 6 weeks of age to 12 years. We have individual classrooms where we provide developmentally appropriate activities for each age.

It is our philosophy at Kimbis Playworld to create a loving environment for each child. We realize that the first years are the most critical years to help develop a childs self-esteem and security. Our primary mission is to provide a rich, warm and supportive atmosphere where children can grow.

Our staff understands that each child is a unique individual and should be treated as such. We take responsibility to care for the whole child and recognize the special characteristics that each child has. We observe their interests and goals to provide activities that will enhance their abilities as they learn.

The programs Kimbis offers are: Full time: 6:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday Part time: 25 hours or any 3 days Monday-Friday Hourly drop-in: Please call for availability. Our center also provides: A creative curriculum created around social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development to ensure the growth of the whole child. An indoor gym and two playgrounds to enhance our gross motor skills. A professional dance studio that comes to our center for an additional fee and offers weekly dance classes for boys and girls ages 3-5. Transportation to five local elementary schools: Windsor Woods, Brookwood, Holland, Lynnhaven, & Windsor Oaks. A summer program for our 5-12 year olds where we offer a fun filled curriculum and scheduled field trips throughout the summer.
