Welcome to one of the most precious hidden gems in the Williamsburg/Norge area! My name is Dwan Utley and I am the director of this wonderful center. I have worked in many areas from teaching in the classroom, family advocacy and childcare administration. I have 10 years of experience working with children along with my degree in Early Childhood Development and in the process of completing my second degree in Developmental Child Psychology. Along with my experience and degrees, I have hosted several trainings to build teacher education and involvement and hold several Early Childhood certifications.

Our center prides itself on building family and community relationships. Our learning experiences begin at a early age starting with the Bright Babies program which utilizes a series of learning kits that help set the stage for stepladder developmental learning. Each day your precious infant will be enveloped in age-appropriate activities and developmental challenges to prepare them for their next steps in life! Using developmental milestones as our tools from our High Reach Learning Curriculum, we continue to enhance what we do every day to ensure that your child has a head start in their physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth development. Our Kindergarten Prep Academy, fondly known as KPA – is our preschool readiness program that is set using our High Reach Learning Curriculum and works on a full day, full year schedule for children ages 4-5 which will be starting kindergarten the following school year. Using High Reach, we are able to provide an enriching balance of public school standard based learning with support of classroom materials. At the end of the year, all that they have learned culminates with our graduation ceremony. In the summer, we are overflowing with fun and exciting field trips and in-house activities for school-age children in our Young Achievers Adventure Summer Camp. Each week is themed and allows each child to take educational field trips, conduct science experiments, create fine works of art and keep their bodies moving with fun physical fitness activities. It doesn-t stop there, when summer is over and the school year begins again, we transition to our before and after school program and continue the fun and learning! We provide USDA-approved, nutritious meals including breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. All meals are of high quality and provide the fuel to keep your child-s young mind and body working hard and ready to learn all day. Our loving teachers are highly-trained and stay on the forefront of Early Childhood Education with in-house trainings done on a daily, monthly and annual basis. State and company requirements keep our teachers prepared at all times in the event of an emergency; we have many of our teachers that are First Aid/CPR and MAT Trained. Most importantly, security is our main priority. We have a security code on all entry doors, vigilant classroom checks by center management along with regular safety building checks.
