Wimberley Montessori has been an educational haven for my 2 children for the last 5 years. Nuturing and challenging, the environment has allowed each of them to pursue his special interests without neglecting subject areas that he might find more difficult or not as appealing. I would highly recommend Wimberley Montessori to any parent looking for a diverse and robust educational program.

My son first attended Parkside Montessori School - which is now called Wimberley Montessori School. I think my son is the best voice to represent the exceptional education he received at Wimberley Montessori. Simply put, my son has developed into a great kid who ended up far advanced academically and socially compared to the other kids when he transferred to public school. For five years he was taught by Renee, now the Director and owner of Wimberley Montessori. My son recently graduated "Valedictorian" at his high school. What more can one say?. I can't imagine sending my child to any other school in the Wimberley area - if learning about the world and developing study and reading skills as well as a joy for learning is what you are looking for.

I have a number of children who attend Wimberley Montessori and the beginning of the school. My children have had very thoughtful, caring and very supportive teachers. I have one child with a slight reading disability and they have been nothing but supportive; so much so that the child now reads high school level material. The school has brought in specialists as the population of the school changes to meet the needs of the evolving population. Do they adhere completely to Montessori? Perhaps not every point for point but I would be disappointed with strict adherence. The education of our children is a dynamic entity. Completely strict adherence to a 80 year old philosophy without some flexibility and evolution could deny them the wonders of the unfolding world. I was some doubts about enrolling our kids there the first years. I am overly cautious by nature. Today I could not imagine my kids attending any other school. My kids have enjoyed every teacher they have had. This school has had an extremely positive effect on my children and I would heartily recommend Wimberley Montessorii to anyout.
