Our school philosophy is that play is the central part of a child’s learning. Activities and lessons are play based to foster the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child. Our curriculum is filled with hands on activities both planned and spontaneous. Teachers work with the children individually and in small groups. Spiritual development is central to our curriculum. We provide experiences for listening to simple Bible stories and emphasize multi-sensory presentation through music, finger plays, rhymes and art activities.
Our philosophy is based on the concept that each child is an individual with a distinct pattern of development Our curriculum offers a child, who is age appropriate for kindergarten, an additional year to grow and mature physically, socially, emotionally, spiritually and academically. Our curriculum is Christ centered and meets each child at his or her point of development. By creating a natural interactive setting we desire to maximize the probability that all skills will be generalized to other natural settings. We enhance five (5) areas of growth: spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and academic.
