Preschool in Yuma, AZ 85365
Yuma Lutheran School provides students with an outstanding academic foundation. Our highly qualified teachers, more than half of whom have earned their Masters degrees, prepare students through a rigorous academic curriculum.
Our class sets of laptops and NEOS enable students to learn about technology and how to implement that technology to broaden their educational base. In addition, our middle school students are given the opportunity to select from a wide range of elective courses.
Every year, our 2nd through 8th graders complete the ITBS, the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. This nationally standardized test helps us to assess how well our curriculum is preparing our students. Our students score at or above grade level in every academic area tested by the ITBS, and this years 7th and 8th graders performed at least one grade level above in every area of the test.
Yuma Lutheran is accredited through NLSA, National Lutheran School Accreditation. Our curriculum meets the Arizona state standards and exceeds them in most areas.
