Welcome to The Goddard School located in Zionsville! My name is Dea Walls. I am the on-site owner. I have over 20 years of experience working with children. I graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BS in Elementary Education and Early Childhood. I have taught kindergarten and was the director of this School for eight years. Owning this preschool is my dream come true! I have always believed that the first six years are the most instrumental in a child’s lifelong learning. I am committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment focused on instilling a love of learning in all of the children that enroll in our School. I feel honored and blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of your family and yours in mine!
The Goddard School is a private year-round preschool for children from six weeks to six years of age. We are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and offer both full and part-time programs (two to five days a week). We also offer a full-day kindergarten program which has become very popular and has proven widely successful in preparing our children for first grade.

Our philosophy is to provide a safe and healthy environment for your child and to promote a love of learning. We strive to maintain low child-to-teacher ratios in our classrooms making it possible for each child to receive the individual attention he or she needs to grow and thrive. We offer a unique program that has been designed to meet the needs of children and their families.
Our “state-of-the-art” facility is outfitted with two playgrounds an indoor exploration room and classrooms equipped with learning centers and a variety of developmental tools for children to explore. The preschool through kindergarten classes also have computers.
