Retired Laguna Beach elementary teacher

I taught in Laguna Beach for 32 years. Most of my career was in grades 5 and 3. I was Teacher of the Year in 1991.

I miss teaching having moved to Aguanga, even though I love chickens, turkeys, goats, dogs, and cats. It is not the same. I think my chief character qualities are patience, humor, and respect for each student’s style of learning. I am 70 but have a young point of view and think kids are one of the best parts of life….
