My approach to tutoring is very practical. It is simply not in the cards for most people to love math. However, our society has chosen to make math a ?gateway? to success in many areas. This includes areas where math is only infrequently used. Whether we like it or not, we must honor the requirements for math proficiency. I will teach/tutor a student to love math if they are willing. Most students will do well to learn enough to succeed without learning to love the subject.
