Lageshia provides my son with interesting and very practical assignements and strategies. She is very patient and thorough. Lageshia also has a good sense of humor. My son has made improvements in his writing and focusing skills since Lageshia has been tutoring him for several weeks now. My son also enjoys her visits. Lageshia also provides me with detailed explantion of what has been reviewed with my son. In addition, Lageshia provides me with written strategies and checklists that I can use with my son on my own. This is very helpful so taht my son can get in teh habit of understanding and performing those writing techniques and strategies. Lageshia is a very knowledgable teacher who takes the extra steps to ensure that her student learns and improves. She is a lso very nice. I highly recommend using her as a tutor.

Sheryl B. from Far Rockaway, NY November 2011-- It's very true what they say about first impressions. In the beginning, I had contacted a few tutor's through the WyzAnt website. When we were given permission to communicate via phone, the only tutor that phoned me was Ms. Lageshia. She wanted to obtain more information in regards to the area where my child needed help. In doing that she had led me to believe that she would be great for my child. Thus far, she has been just that! She really takes an interest in the concerns of my child. If a math problem arises that we cannot solve, we give it to Ms. Lageshia and the problem is solved. In addition, she prepares lessons that will help improve in the areas where my child is having difficulties. Furthermore, my child tells me that she is very patient, explains and demonstrates problems in great detail. My child is very fond of her (another very important aspect). With that said, I truly appreciate her and believe that my child is in great hands. Update, 8/11/12-- My daughter really needed to improve in math. With Ms. Lageshia's help, my daughter's state math score has increased to a level 3. This is a score that can get her in to a very good high school. Goal accomplished. Ms. Lageshia, we can not thank you enough.
