Testimonials
Jessica D. from Rutherford, NJ Leslie is an excellent tutor. She is very knowledgeable of all math subjects and breaks down the material to simplify the problems. Out of all the math tutors on this website, she is by far the best. She is easy to get a hold of, very flexible with her schedule, very friendly and more than willing to help you in the subject that you are working on. You will be more than happy with your decision if you chose her for your tutor!
Janice M. from Caldwell, NJ I can't say enough good things about Leslie. Having been out of school for awhile, I was faced with a Statistics class (graduate level) that, during my undergrad days, required the assistance of a tutor in order for me to pass. Well, Leslie not only helped me pass this particular Stat class, she helped me Ace the class. She presented the material in a way that allowed me to better understand the concepts / calculations, and she was very patient with me and worked with me at my own pace. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Leslie!
Edwin G. from Clifton, NJ Excellent teacher, very professional, always reachable, easy to adjust to schedules. I'm very happy of services provided to my son. I would definitely recommend.
Olga Y. from Clifton, NJ Leslie is the tutor we were looking for: she has great interpersonal skills, she is patient, she makes math easy to understand, she is flexible when it comes to scheduling lessons. I can't believe how fast my daughter improved her math skills just after the first couple of sessions: her grades went up to 85-95.
Christine N. from Rutherford, NJ Leslie has already helped my daughter improve her grade in prealgebra by two letter grades. Right from the start she has been very easy to work with, from answering emails and phone calls quickly to being flexible with scheduling. She is very patient and explains problems in simple terms making it easier for my daughter to understand and she always gives her an opportunity to ask questions. I highly recommend Leslie as a tutor!
Alan W. from Paramus, NJ Leslie C. is a terrific tutor, someone I would definitely recommend. Besides being highly competent, she is quick to respond and is very flexible around schedules. My son has never needed a tutor before, always the top student in his math and science classes. Last year he did not have the best teacher for AP Pre-Calc/Trig and he wound up teaching himself most of the time. He wound up getting the award for Top Student in the Class. This year in AP Calc, he got a 90 his first marking period but told us he was having a much rougher time as he had a very tough teacher and he felt he was not as prepared for it given the teacher he had last year. This teacher only gives 3 tests a marking period. On his first test of the second marking period Alex felt he had made some careless mistakes. On his second test he felt he was well prepared but when he started the test, realized he was in trouble. He wound up getting the same grade. That is when we hired Leslie. She immediately identified why he was having problems. The main thing was that this type of Math could not be handled the way he has been able to in the past, teaching himself the night before the test. She showed him how he must continuously work with the problems to make sure he fully understands or else he would freeze up on the tests. The teacher does not give partial credit on wrong answers so if he does one thing wrong, he gets no credit. He aced the next test. He also got the second highest grade in the class on the Midterm. He had a lesson with Leslie at the start of the new marking period/next chapter. Just to show you how she did, the following week he wound up correcting the teacher on a mistake that he made on the blackboard when he was going over the work. I highly recommend Leslie as a tutor. She is patient, easy to deal with and earned the respect of my son, which is not that easy.
