I've seen that Liz has a thorough understanding of the subject and a much broader knowledge outside that immediate area of study. She was quick to assess my daughter's strengths and weaknesses in mathematics, and immediately built on the strengths while working through the those things my daughter had not yet understood clearly. Liz's education has given her a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts of the subjects she teaches and she has a gift for explaining those to others. She is giving my daughter the ability to work off of those fundamentals and tackle more complex problems. She has an engaging personality and immediately "connected" with my daughter. She is patient and encouraging, gives my daughter only what she needs to solve problems herself, and is working at giving her the skills she needs to solve problems on her own. Liz has a broad range of knowledge and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her in any area she's studied.
