Testimonials
Tamika H. from Parkville, MD This is a very awesome tutor. She made my life easier when it came to chemistry. She's very flexible and patient. The time and dedication that she put into me was worth it. I'm getting over my hurdle in chemistry! Thanks, Ms. Meredith. You're the best!!
Deidra R. from Abingdon, MD She really enjoys her work and makes it semi-fun. As fun as school can be for my son who absolutely hates school.
Tamura T. from Baltimore, MD I love each and every session that I have with Miss Meredith. She is a very intellectual person who has the patience to work with her students. She is willing to work with you until you finally get what it is your are struggling with. She is a very friendly person who doesn't judge her students. She is a very understanding person and one of the greatest tutors I've had for math so far. She makes the hardest things so very easy with different strategical/mathematical strategies. My grades have gotten way better. I went from low grade to a B average with Miss Meredith's help. She is there when I need help. If ever I need quick help or need to remember something I can email her or text her she allows this and it is very helpful to me. She is very humble and enjoys her work. I highly recommend Miss Meredith to anyone in the Baltimore area that Is struggling with math or any other subject. I give her 5 stars.
Will S. from Edgewood, MD Meredith has very calming tutoring style that fits perfect with my son. I believe there is equal trust from the both of them throughout the process and results also have been very positive. My son throughout the first quarter has seen Meredith once week and finish the first quarter with 85% for chemistry. He is looking to continue to improve and Meredith has been very positive influence for him.
Leah S. from Middle River, MD Meredith was excellent! She took her time with me to be sure I understood. She was extremely patient and explained in great detail whenever necessary. I would recommend her to anyone!
Lindsay F. from Parkville, MD Meredith was so helpful in preparing me for the GED that instead of receiving my GED, I received my Maryland high school diploma! Math has always been my problem area. Throughout schooling, grasping topics has always been hard. When I emailed Meredith, I told her that tutoring me was probably going to be one of the hardest things she had ever done, but she was up for the challenge. Meredith asked me what my problems were, evaluated my current knowledge, and decided how to attack each problem area, and it worked. I genuinely looked forward to every tutoring session, and the way that Meredith explained things always made sense. She always made it seem like my goal of learning the math I needed to pass the GED was attainable. Meredith is super hands-on, and she is very patient. She is very dedicated in teaching students and is confident in her skills, which made me confident in my skills. Meredith is very willing to do whatever she needs to do to help her students feel comfortable and confident with the material. She is easily accessible - she always answers her phone or text messages as soon as her students contact her. Tutoring with Meredith is never dull and boring. I believe that she is much more gifted in teaching and cares more about student success than any teacher that I have ever met.
Janet B. from Middle River, MD Meredith has been a wonderful tutor for my son, who is studying to take the ASVAB test. She comes to the house and is always very professional. She gets right to work and is extremely well prepared. She is easy to contact and very personable. She works diligently at setting up a plan that is tailored to my son's learning capabilities and incorporates things he likes and enjoys into the lessons.
Kelly A. from Dundalk, MD I contacted Meredith the day I found out I didn't get accepted into nursing school. My rejection was due to a low entrance exam score (TEAS V). This exam is 33% of the selective admission process. I was able to significantly raise my scores with Meredith's help. She was very understanding and went over my weak areas one step at a time. Not only would I recommend Meredith to anyone, but I will contact her myself if I need her in the future.
Ronnette P. from Essex, MD Meredith has been my daughters tutor few a few months now. Progress was seen after the first tutoring session. I see new found confidence when my daughter is reading; Meredith has provided her with processes to help with comprehension and when she runs into academic issues. Meredith is the best and highly, highly recommended. My daughter looks forward to her tutoring sessions and she's eager to work on any assignment that Meredith asks her to work on.
Ann F. from Essex, MD I cannot say enough good things about Meredith's work with my son. He has always struggled with Algebra, so was reluctant to do extra work with a tutor. However, from the first lesson, it became clear that Meredith taught the material in a way that quickly gave him a sense of confidence that he could master the material. As he said after a lesson, "I learn more from Meredith in 1 hour than I learned all of last year in Algebra class." His Algebra II grade climbed from a D to a B and, more importantly, he no longer believes that he has no talent for math. Meredith has been nothing short of a miracle for my son. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Rina C. from Fallston, MD I have been very impressed with Meredith's tutoring style. Her patience and subject knowledge are wonderful. Meredith has the ability to pass along knowledge without spoonfeeding; she guides our son through the learning process allowing him to reach the correct conclusions. She is able to be flexible with us which was very important due to our son's health issues. I can reach hear easily via phone or text. Our family is very pleased with Meredith's tutoring.
Maryann R. from Forest Hill, MD As Meredith started teaching me I understood right away, she has patient and understood why I was not understanding and taught in a way that I could understand. I did receive my GED. Thanks to Meredith that now I can get my nursing degree. I give her 10 stars.
Jessica G. from Forest Hill, MD I recently had the pleasure of working with Meredith as she helped me prepare to take the GRE exam. She helped me specifically in math. I came to Meredith only 2 weeks before the test. She did a fabulous job helping understand the structure of the test, and what material I could expect to see on it as well. She walked me through each math topic with understanding of my learning style, and a complete understanding of the material. She made me feel confident and prepared. Meredith was warm and welcoming, and never made me feel like I was failing to understand what I was learning. She simply used my way of thinking to approach the topic from a different angle. Even in between sessions she sent me things to work on, and always offered to help at any time. I HIGHLY recommend Meredith as a tutor. I couldn't have done as well as I did without her!
Theresa W. from Forest Hill, MD Meredith is tutoring two of our children (7 years old and 11 years old) in reading and writing. Meredith is very patient with the children, both of whom seem very comfortable with Meredith and are responding quite well to Meredith's teaching style. Each child has had two lessons and will continue to work with Meredith twice a week for the remainder of the Summer and into the school year. We are confident that Meredith is a great match for our children.
Tameka F. from Joppa, MD My son loves his tutor. She is very patient. Thank you for being such a good tutor.
Elise R. from Millersville, MD My daughter, a high school senior, has been struggling with the standardized tests for college admission. Meredith's tutoring is just what the doctor ordered to help her strengthen her math, science and reading skills to prep for the ACT. Meredith assesses her capabilities, hones in on the weak areas, and comes up with a plan to boost her performance in those problem areas. Meredith's tutoring has also helped to boost my daughter's confidence about taking the ACT next month. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a tutor.
