Learning is fundamental and as a tutor, my goal will be to help the student understand the process of learning and using what has been learned. In many instances, the tutoring process will be straightforward, as in vocabulary, and as a tutor I will help the student understand that while memorization can be boring, the origins of words can lead to a deeper understanding and thereby better recall.
