As I had not studied much of this material in depth for some time (years!), I felt really out of the loop with much of the material. So I greatly appreciated how Hediye was so patient with me. Second, Hediye seemed to have a good sense of what I would need to focus on in order to pass. Clearly knowing all material through and through is ideal, but re-gaining that knowledge in 4 weeks time is near impossible. So I found it super helpful that Hediye identified the most essential elements and formulas for me for each content area covered on the test. I really appreciated how she also explained both simple and high-level content areas. This was perfect for my preparation for the test. Third, Hediye is incredibly focused. I appreciated how she was great on an interpersonal level (warm, friendly) but also got right down to business. Every session that we had was highly focused. And we always got through so much material! When I worked with Hediye, I went in to each session with specific questions, and some ideas for what content I wanted to review with her. This really worked for me. She was happy to answer questions (and always did so in a very accessible way) and then we worked on Math problems together. As an educator, I think that the best teachers are those who the student wants to work hard for. I respect Hediye, so I worked really hard and did not want to disappoint! Like I said, she is a truly amazing tutor and teacher.
