Hello! I worked with the Americorp program while I was enrolled at Rend Lake College. They offered training programs on different ways to teach and effective ways to help a student obtain study habits. I then became employed at JL Buford through Americorp after completing the training program. I was employed as a teacher’s aide where I graded papers and planned my own curriculum for the school year. I was strictly assigned to tutor fourth and fifth grade students.
