Hi, my name is Josh. I graduated from West Point in 2006 with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating I served in the Army for seven years and spent approximately three years overseas. Since graduating I have been working to complete medical school prerequisites, and more recently took the MCAT. He was extremely organized and helped me figure out a study schedule for each day leading up to my exam, which was very helpful. Also, he taught me a variety of general test-taking strategies, especially for the verbal section, to help with the timing of getting through passages. He also helped me review mistakes I made on practice exams, particularly areas I was weak in for chemistry, such as solubility. I found that a lot of the concepts we reviewed showed up on the actual exam, and I used his test taking strategies for the verbal section and had no trouble finishing in time. Overall, Josh was very encouraging, resourceful, and had really good insight into the specifics of the MCAT exam. I think that in a short time Josh definitely helped improve my MCAT score.
