Hi there!

I graduated from NYU with a Bachelor’s of Music in Vocal Performance and a concentration in Flute. I have 6 years of experience teaching private lessons. I am able to teach both Flute and Voice with equal proficiency. I am currently a working actor, performing in musicals, singing groups, and film projects both in New York and around the country.

I approach teaching from a very individual place. My goal is to tap into the students’ strengths and also acknowledge their weaknesses. I take the time to get to know each of my students. It is in that process that we can start to bring out the individual artist. After all, music is an expression of the inner soul. It is through music that we can express the things we can’t with words.

In my vocal coaching, I also work from a strong acting standpoint. Knowing the circumstance of the song is just as, if not, more important than the vocal technique.

My experience with voice is specifically in Musical theatre however I am just as comfortable with a variety of styles from Classical, pop, folk, etc.

My expertise with flute is in classical training, and with that foundation I can start to work with the student on other styles.
