She is not only helpful in assignments, understanding basics, but also is very strong in organizational skills. She has my daughter setting up a book on rules and examples that she will have always. She provides homework and correction in the next session with new topics. She also gives my daughter new ways of doing the math problems. Esther is able to teach the concepts step by step and is very patient. It's a surprise she's not a math teacher. There are many qualified tutors on this site who boast about getting perfect math SAT scores, but possessing the knowledge of the subject material vs. being able to teach it, are two entirely different things. Esther was able to quickly identify what my daughter needed help with, and in an effort to prevent her from making mistakes when working out problems independently, she had my daughter write down rules used to solve in a "rule book". It's a no fail method, very organized. I'm so glad I finally found a tutor who makes math understandable and less intimidating to my daughter. Her grades have dramatically improved after just 2 lessons.
