Hi there! I’ve been teaching and playing saxophone, flute, and clarinet professionally for over a decade. I’m a member of a well-known saxophone quartet and frequently tour the United States and Europe giving concerts and teaching. I live in New York City and have worked on Broadway, in film scores, and orchestras as a woodwind specialist. I hold three degrees, including a Doctorate, in music performance.
I am the Head Faculty of woodwinds at the Youth Orchestra of St. Luke’s in Manhattan, where I teach a range of ability levels in the elementary-middle school range. I also teach privately online and (pre-COVID) in a beautiful loft space in Brooklyn.
I am very passionate about music education at any age. I want my students leave lessons empowered, engaged, and with more love for music-making than they came in with. Music is both incredibly fun and challenging, and I make the learning process a positive one.
