UPDATE: I was spending more than $400/wk to see Kimberly, but there were some red flags that made me decide to stop seeing her. She would often make me feel like I was doing the problems incorrectly even when I did them right. Several times she blamed my textbook for being wrong, when I double checked with other students and the professor it was clear that Kimberly was incorrect, and not the textbook. I feel like Kimberly decided to take advantage of the fact that I have a large discretionary budget to spend on tutoring and would sometimes take longer than necessary to cover some topics. Also, she is fierce when it comes to her cancellation policy and would not negotiate even considering how much time and money I spend with her on a weekly basis. I understand that she ostensibly has other students as well but I feel like when I am spending so much a month on her, she can try to accommodate my schedule just a bit. Overall, she is not a bad person, and she can be helpful but to me these problems add up to make it not worth my money to stay with her.
