I taught elementary grades a total of 15 years: 1st for 3 years; 3rd for 4 years; 4th for 7 years; and 5th for 1 year. I taught Graded Reading and Writing at Gary Job Corps for 4 years and was selected by the U.S. Department of Labor to pilot a writing program and develop a training manual for educators teaching at 103 Job Corps nation wide and the Forestry Division.
