In considering a tutor, I was particularly interested in a course of study that would emphasize science as a way of thinking about the world, as well as a collection of facts and theories. I also wanted someone who could make science fun and engage my son's natural curiosity. It was clear from our first introductory meeting/mini-session that Adam was perfect for the job. He engaged my son in a fascinating conversation about animals and adaptation, which led to some provocative questions about zoology and environment. He is very knowledgeable, but also completely accessible in his teaching methods. My son looks forward to his lessons, and often talks about the topics long after the lesson is over. As a trained educator, Adam is also mindful of the standards and expectations for each grade level--he is helping my son integrate technology into his work, for example, in ways that will prepare him well for re-integration into the school system in the future. All in all, we are very lucky to have found Adam. I recommend him with the greatest enthusiasm.
