Awesome Math and Test Prep Tutor
I’ve been tutoring and teaching mathematics and test prep for 15 years. I’ve taught math and test prep on two continents. I have two years classroom experience at the high school level, so I know exactly what high school teachers expect. I taught Algebra 1 and 2 in a classroom setting at Indiana University, and I worked as a teaching assistant at UIC – Pre-Calculus 1, Pre-Calculus 2, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Introduction to Higher Mathematics, Abstract Algebra, and Advanced Euclidean Geometry….
Testimonials
Jordan D. from Chicago, IL I worked with John to prep for GMAT. He was very thorough and customized a work plan to my (many) deficiencies. His advanced degrees in math provide him a tremendous foundation to explain complex math topics in a very basic, easy to understand way. HIRE JOHN!
Meg W. from Chicago, IL My high school junior son absolutely loves working with John. He looks forward to each session and his scores have improved dramatically. Not sure how he does it but John has actually made ACT prep enjoyable for my son. Imagine that! I highly recommend him!
Josh C. from Chicago, IL After taking the GMAT once I was very disappointed with my Quant score. I studied hours upon hours on my own and no matter what I did I could not raise my Quant score. Exhausted and frustrated I decided it was time to find a tutor as a last ditch effort. Upon beginning with John he immediately uncovered my weaknesses and made what once seemed impossible subjects (coordinate geometry, word problems, rate problems) digestible and easy to understand. After leaving every session I felt motivated and inspired because I was finally seeing improvement. All said and done upon retaking the exam my quant score improved drastically, going up by over 10 percentile points.
