I majored in Chinese Language and Literature at the University of Iowa and graduated in 2004. During that time I took a summer course at Beijing University. Immediately after graduating, I moved to Taiwan to teach English and continue my Chinese language learning. I lived there for 8 years and have recently moved back to the Quad Cities.
