I have been a classroom teacher of science for eight years, mostly conceptual physics. My math background and lifelong pursuit of astronomy enable me to tutor in astronomy and algebra with a high degree of expertise.

I generally start tutoring by answering specific questions from the student. This takes care of the student’s urgent needs. Then, as I get to know the student and identify areas of weakness, I work intensively to develop the student’s ability to independently master those areas….
