Hey guys,
I’m currently a student at the University of Texas at Dallas. I completed my Associate’s degree with honors at Collin College and plan to graduate this fall with my Bachelor’s in Chemistry. During my transfer, I was accepted to the UTD Summer Research Program, where I worked with the Ferraris group on supercapacitors. I stayed on board throughout the coming year, was selected to speak at the 46th ACS Meeting in Miniature at A&M Commerce, and went on to place as a finalist at the 20…
Testimonials
Ranjit G. from Odessa, TX Easy to schedule. Was very helpful with my Chemistry related DAT prep. Could explain the concepts in an easy to understand manner.
Paige M. from Mckinney, TX John did a great job explaining conversion factors, periodic table, and how atoms work. I don't care for science at all and John made it fun to learn this subject. John has a very easy going personality and I felt very comfortable talking with him.
Jahn T. from Dallas, TX John was prompt in returning emails/texts, extremely prepared for the lesson he was covering, patient, and organized in his approach to teaching the material! A truly knowledgeable Chem tutor! His follow up included a review of the material covered during tutoring! Great job!
Kandy S. from Dallas, TX John provided a great written lesson to reinforce what was gone over during the session. Gave my son his number for any questions he had between sessions. Prompt, encouraging and personable.
Candace S. from Plano, TX Prompt, professional and patient! So thankful John was able to help our daughter navigate and understand the chemistry concepts which she had been struggling with for a while. She told us he clearly taught her in 5 minutes what she had been struggling with for a few weeks. Highly recommend John!
Tammy R. from Dallas, TX My daughter has only had one lesson with John but we definitely plan to continue. He was able to explain Stoichiometry to my daughter in a way that she could understand almost immediately. He was patient and made her feel extremely comfortable asking questions. She learned in one hour what she couldn't comprehend in hours of class time as well as hours of researching and watching videos online!
Jazmin S. from Dallas, TX I've worked with John a few times now so I feel like I can give him an accurate review. I was initially nervous to find and pay for a tutor because most of them have a reputation of making you feel like you're dumber than you really are. But not John! I like the fact that he's a student as well, so he is able to take the complex terminology and concepts that the professors use and put it in simple and easy to understand forms. I also like that he's very knowledgeable in the subject of organic chemistry, so he can apply the information that he's teaching me to real life scenarios that are actually useful to me. He has very flexible tutoring hours and will work around my busy work and school schedule as well. I've had other tutors, but most of them are individuals that are incredibly knowledgeable on the subject, but are not able to convey the important information to me. I definitely plan on using John to get me through the remainder of the semester!
Oscar G. from Dallas, TX John loves Chemistry, has a wonderful personality, and his enthusiasm and patience shines through. My daughter's grades in her high school chemistry went through the roof with John's help.
Sam S. from Dallas, TX I highly recommend this tutor for chemistry and calculus. He has taught me a lot. He is very knowledgeable and works well with busy schedules.
Michael V. from Dallas, TX John has and continues to be a great tutor for our son in Math. He is very patient, professional, and friendly to work with. He has a great relationship with our son, which makes the tutoring sessions something our son looks forward to, in the subject he likes the least.
