I am a 1973 graduate of Western Illinois University with a major in Political Science, as well as Education. My minor was in history, and my first two years I took multiple math classes.

I taught 7th and 8th grade Social Studies and reading at St. Mark’s Grade School from August 1973 through June 1976. I then left to work in the construction industry as a carpenter, job superintendent, estimator and project manager.
