I was born within a family of educators — my uncle was a world-renowned Chinese linguist and my father was a famous Chinese historian and a professor of history at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Growing up in such environment, although I gained a Bachelor of Business, I have a passion for Chinese and teaching. When I was young, my teachers would use me as an example in Chinese writing class and choose me to represent our class in numerous of Chinese speech and writing competitions.
