It took me getting through high school, then college, to realize learning doesn’t have to be a misery. I went through all the required math/science classes in high school and did well, but didn’t enjoy it or see how it applied much to the real world. I have come to realize that math/science is needed in the real world, and I work, as the tutor, to find interesting examples of how to show the student.
