My goal as an educator is to give my students the tools to allow them to play in a way that makes them feel accomplished and brings them joy. I am very serious about teaching the fundamentals of drumming, as it allows you to begin learning self-sufficiently, and that way you can keep learning in a streamlined way for life. That being said, learning songs of many styles is also essential, and is so much fun to do! Playing along with records is one of the best forms of practice.
